About Dr. Moskowitz.
Born and raised in California, Dr. Moskowitz earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from California State University at Long Beach.
He graduated Cum Laude with his Doctorate of Medicine from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Moskowtiz completed his Residency in General Surgery at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio, a level one trauma center. Experience in trauma care at St. Elizabeth's inspired him to join the US Army as a reservist where he currently holds the rank of Major.
Dr. Moskowitz completed a Fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery in 2008 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
Dr. Moskowitz is a member of the American Medical Association, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. Dr. Moskowitz is a Clinical Instructor of Surgery at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio.
Dr. Moskowitz enjoys traveling, and he is an avid sailor. He enjoys baseball, soccer, racquetball and chess. He is fluent in English and has strong language skills in Hungarian.
